Committees

The Technical Committee is responsible for overseeing the review, editing, interpretation of, and compliance with ISF competition rules. The Committee also reviews and establishes safety guidelines as well as rules on competition spacing, set-up, and play. The Technical Committee sets and reviews the events/workouts used in sanctioned competitions as well as performs thorough testing of all events to be performed at a given competition.
The Technical Committee is responsible for organizing three sub-committees: An Equipment sub-committee, a referee’s sub-committee, and a rules sub-committee.

This committee is responsible for creating rules and standards which will allow for the development of fair and unbiased competition for adaptive athletes. The Committee also represents the interests of adaptive athletes and is working towards achieving compliance with Paralympic standards.
